How to Stop Chasing Late Payments: Reminders That Go Out Automatically
By i-quote team1 min read
Late payments are rarely about clients refusing to pay. More often the invoice was missed, forgotten or buried. Consistent, polite reminders fix most of that, but sending them by hand is easy to forget and awkward to do.
A sensible schedule is a courtesy note a few days before the due date, one on the due date, and a small number of follow-ups after it, spaced further apart each time and stopping as soon as the invoice is paid.
i-quote does this for you: reminders go out 3 days before the due date, on the due date, and 1, 7 and 14 days after, never more than one a day, and the invoice is marked overdue automatically. You can change the schedule or switch reminders off in Settings.
